The standard backplate is used with 1036 series standard strap hinges when bolting them to a non-reinforced door. The 1036 standard backplate comes in three variations which correspond with the three available lengths of the 1036 series hinge. The backplate distributes the force of the fasteners over a larger surface thereby preventing damage to the door. The standard backplate is made from steel and finished with a powder coat. Backplate Dimensions: 16-1/2¢€³ x 2-1/2¢€³ x 3/16¢€³. Fasteners not included.
