The Industrial backplate is used with 434 series industrial strap hinges when bolting them to a non-reinforced door. The 434 industrial backplate comes in four variations that correspond with the hinge's four available lengths. The backplate distributes the force of the fasteners over a larger surface thereby preventing damage to the door. The industrial backplate is made from steel and finished with a powder coat. Backplate Dimensions: 16-1/2" x 2-1/2" x 3/16". Fasteners are not included.
